About the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association
The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association ( HBA) is a not-for-profit professional trade association dedicated to promoting, protecting and preserving the homebuilding industry as a viable economic force in the Atlanta area.

The HBA was founded in 1945 by a group of builders looking for an organization to serve their interests and needs within the homebuilding industry. In 1989, the association changed its name from the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Atlanta to the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association.

The new name reflected the association’s increasing membership and changing climate of the local homebuilding industry.

About the Atlanta Apartment Association
The Atlanta Apartment Association is the multi-family housing trade association for the Atlanta Metro area. Founded in 1975, AAA is one of the largest local apartment associations in the country, and an affiliate of the Georgia Apartment Association and the National Apartment Association. Currently, AAA represents over 1,400 members consisting of 400 companies managing 320,000+ apartment homes, and over 1000 businesses that provide products and services to the industry.
